May I have your attention please? June gotta be kidding me.
Moving on from the terrible dad jokes, it is that time again: monthly favourites! May was definitely a whirlwind month with a lot of things going on, and a lot of changes, but I still managed to fall in love with a fair few products!
The Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes have been an integral part of my skincare routine for quite some time now. I find them to be the most moist ( I am sorry !) and hydrating! I love the purple package for their scent, but the blue I find to be the most soothing on the skin. I am the queen of lazy, so these are a MUST have.
I recently picked up the lightest Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder shade which I was worried would still be too dark, but it is perfection. The coverage this gives is outstanding and flawless, as the name suggests. I still have issues with my nose and cheek area losing coverage throughout the day, but that is just my stupid combo skin.
MAC Strobe Cream has been in my collection since 2013 soooo it is definitely something I should have chucked out a while ago, but I can’t. There is not too much left as I have mentioned in my Project Pan post here, so I am determined to use it up. It is the original formula, and once it is all used up, I am definitely repurchasing the new release!
I feel like this is so unlike me to include a bronzer in my favourites, as generally I used to stear clear due to how pale I am, but the NARS Laguna Bronzer was a pleasant surprise and remarkably wearable. I love how this warms up the face and brings life back into my dull skin.
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl …can we just….take a moment? I bought this off Ebony @theblackandwhiteguide for a ridiculously cheap price, and I am OBSESSED. It is practically white, and PERFECT for my pasty skin. I love mixing it in with darker highlights too, to make a custom shade for my skin tone.
The last beauty product was one of those “YouTube made me buy it” purchases. Jaclyn Hill RAVED about the bareMinerals GEN NUDE Buttercream Lipgloss in Groovy so naturally I picked it up with the leftover money from a birthday Mecca voucher. It is hella pigmented, and so creamy. The scent is very sweet, which I do like, and feels so soft and buttery, as the name suggests, on the lips.
Last but definitely not least, I have recently become addicted to How To Get Away With Murder. Addicted is a light term. I have been 24/7 obsessed. I stupidly googled something to do with the main character and it pulled up a MAJOR spoiler from season 3 (I have only JUST finished season 2) so I am kinda bummed, but nevertheless still obsessed. I love crime shows, and this has so much suspense that it is almost reminiscent of PLL.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL June! x
